District Awards

District 64 honours individual members each year for their service to members, clubs and the District. Any member in good standing, belonging to a club in good standing in District 64, may submit a nomination for any of the District Awards. These awards are presented at the Spring Convention.

How to Nominate a Member for a District Award:
1.    Locate the specific award for which the member would qualify,
2.    Download that award’s nomination form (directions below) since each award has its own specific form,
3.    Complete the form in full, providing as much detail as possible, and
4.    Return the nomination form to the Awards Committee by the deadline for the specific award (contact information below).

To download the form, click on the link. Save the uncompleted document to your desktop where you can complete the form. Save the completed document. The completed form can be emailed, as an attachment, to the Awards Committee at DistrictAwards@District64.ca

1 – Eric Stuhlmueller Memorial Award

The Eric Stuhlmueller Memorial Award recognizes a Toastmaster who has demonstrated outstanding, dedicated and inspirational leadership, to carry out Eric Stuhlmueller’s theme as International President to “Belong, Participate and Succeed” through continuous service at the Club and District level over many years.

2 – George Craigie Memorial Award

Instituted in by the District team in 1990 the George Craigie Memorial Award recognizes a Toastmaster who doesn’t normally enjoy recognition from the District, but whose contributions have focused on their home club, through the encouragement of membership growth and retention, while continuing to contribute to the District wherever possible.
