International Director Kim Myers attending D64 Spring Conference

District 64 Toastmasters

Welcomes International Director to Manitoba

(Winnipeg, MB, March 1, 2024— International Director Kim Myers, will be hosted by District 64 Toastmasters of Manitoba, NW Ontario and NW Minnesota for their Annual Spring Conference. The event will be held on Friday April 26 and Saturday April 27, 2024 at the Alt Hotel in Winnipeg, MB.

I am looking forward to seeing all the Toastmasters in District 64. I love attending conferences. Throughout my 20 years in Toastmasters I have attended all but one district conference in my home district. I missed that one because I was attending 3 others. I love visiting other districts because I learn more and meet more new people, it’s a great experience. says Kim.

Myers is from Kansas City, Missouri and has been a member of her home club Masters Toastmasters in Lenexa, Kansas since 2004. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and has held a number of high profiled leadership positions within Toastmasters. As a member of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, Myers is a “working ambassador” for the organization. She works with the Board to develop, support and modify the policies and procedures that guide Toastmasters International in fulfilling its mission.

Having our own International Director Kim Myers visiting our District is a fantastic opportunity for this District to showcase itself.  We will be working with Kim on visiting perspective clubs, presenting corporate recognition and getting to know her at our Spring Conference.  This is the only time the majority of our memberships really get to see our senior leadership from the Board of Directors. Taking the time to ask questions and getting to know them is huge and I am very much looking forward to the entire visit, David Storey, District 64 Director for Toastmasters.
