The opening keynote speaker is Pat Johnson, DTM, PIP.
Pat Johnson joined Toastmasters International in 1983 in rural northern Manitoba. During her 39 years of continuous learning and membership in Toastmasters, she has spoken in a long list of countries around the world as a keynote speaker and educator.
Pat wrote and published “Building and Sustaining Vibrant and Sustainable Toastmasters Programs in Corporations” in 2018 and launched this book at the International Convention in Chicago, Illinois, USA, that same year.

Pat has also won the 2012 Presidential Citation Award and awarded the 2001–2002 Distinguished District Governor
Also second speaker is Paola Perina.
Born in Verona Italy, she has a B.A. in psychology from San Francisco State University in U.S.A. She started her own retail business, successfully managing 3 retail clothing stores for 28 years. She personally took care of all of her store’s communication and advertising needs, both offline and online. Over a 10-year period she developed a good working knowledge of Social Media platforms, content creation and public relations.
An enthusiastic Toastmasters since 2018, she has served as VPPR 2019/20 for her Verona Toastmasters Club and as Division PR Assistant 2020/2021 and as Public Relations Manager in District 109 in 2021/2022.
She sponsored The Rimini Riviera Club which chartered within 9 months from demo meeting.
She conducted Webinars on PR subjects for COTs and TLIs in D59, D91, D95 and D109. She also held a webinar for Region 10 about Customer’s Journey and Communication plan.
Our third speaker will be Monique Levesque-Pharoah, DTM, PDG, PID.
A Toastmaster since 1994, Monique is a charter member of her home club, Vital Words, in Winnipeg. She has held a number of high-profile leadership positions within Toastmasters.

Monique received Toastmaster of the Year and Speaker of the Year at Vital Words Toastmasters Club in various years since 1994, became a DTM in 2006, and won the District 64 Evaluation Contest at the Fall Conference 2012
Monique is manager, sponsorship and events at Health Sciences Centre Foundation in Winnipeg, Canada where she has worked since 2015. She is responsible for identifying and implementing individual and corporate sponsor strategies to meet her organization’s strategic, operational and fundraising goals.
Monique holds a diploma in Human Resources Management with Honours from Red River College in Winnipeg. She was a selected profile leader in the book, Why Winnipeg? A Profile of Community Leadership with Leadership Winnipeg in June 2015. She is a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals.
