District 64 Council Meeting Documents – Sept 21, 2024

The below documents were distributed, to the District Council members, two weeks in advance of the District Council meeting scheduled on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The District Council members are the voting delegates that comprise; the District Executive Committee and all Presidents and Vice Presidents of Education of clubs in good standing.

If you are a club President or Vice President of Education be sure to contact credentials@district64 to register for this important business meeting. Participation is required to fulfill quorum and most importantly to exercise your club membership’s voice! All *registered* district council members will be sent a ZOOM link to enable them to directly participate in business proceedings.

District Council Documents as Distributed

District Council Information

The District Council consists of the District Executive Committee, as defined in Article XI(a) of the Governing Documents, and the Club President and Vice President Education from each Member Club in the District. These shall be the only voting members of the District Council, and references made in the administrative bylaws to “members of the District Council” shall mean only voting members.

The officers of the District shall be a District Director, a Program Quality Director, a Club Growth Director, a District Public Relations Manager, a District Administration Manager, a District Finance Manager, Area Directors, and Division Directors.

The District Council shall hold at least two (2) meetings during each year, with the exact number and schedule of meetings to be fixed by the District Council. One meeting shall be called the “annual meeting,” and shall be held in person (unless otherwise instructed by the Board of Directors) between March 15 and June 1. Additional meetings are conducted online.
